Paris Theme Part 2

Continuing on the Paris Theme for my daughter, I painted an old chest using the inspiration from Pinterest and Live Love Diy blog (LiveLoveDiy.com) to help give me inspiration and painting tips.

The blog Live Love Diy blog section on painting.  I sanded the lacquer chest and used a white primer.
Then, I went to Home Depot purchased sample paint in black and pink. I used two coats on the chest and drawers.

I purchased the knobs at Home Depot.  This is the outcome.

Paris Theme: part 1

I am working on two projects for two of my daughters, I think I am a little bit nuts for doing this.  My middle daughter wants a Paris theme room.  We have started a little by finding an entertainment center that I had to redo and a desk for her room.  She wanted pink and black colors, this project is ongoing.

I needed a small entertainment center for the room.  This was perfect, so I sand the furniture than spray painted it used Krylon Colormster indoor/outdoor gloss paint and the color was watermelon.  It came out wonderful, but I should have prime the cabinet.  It took two coats of paint
